I am planning a round tour through Cuba, but in the end I
like to relax at the beach. I prever a place where I can
take my clothes off and have a swim naked. I read that at
the island of Cayo Largo there are some nude beaches, but I
have not got recent information about this. Can anyone tell
me the current situation? Is there a good posibility to get
into the sun naked in Cuba and espacially Cayo Largo? I
have read about the beach at hotel Capricho. Please tell me

In this instance I wanted to tell you an incident which
happened in BANDRA RAILWAY STATION,Western Suburbs of
MUMBAI,INDIA which is a hot gay spot just a few months
back.A guy of age 22 yrs who had gay sexual orientation
after coming to know thru some of
his friends that gays are easily available here and can
be
approached and made friends.So he decided to go on a
weekend
that is saturday night.After 9:00pm onwards you can find
lot
of guys/girls standing there at platform no:1 waiting
for
their friends to come and meet and hangout at their
convenience.This guy went and was searching for someone
to
make friend and found some cute guy,fair looking and
innocent looks.The guy name was Mansoor as he said to
our
friend who approached him,well he agreed to all the
things
and he even accepted that he is a gay like our friend.So
he
took him little far off the station just outside the
main
opening and introduced to some bigger guy called Zameel
or
Zeelani name is not mentioned.The bigger who also said
that
he is also gay started abusing our friend and slapping
him
infront of all public shouting aloud that our friend is
a homosexual.Our friend started weeping and crying for
help
and nobody helped him and even the police could not come
to
the rescue of him.
I felt very very bad after coming to know the situation
and
incident wht happened and our friend ran for his life
and
got his knee broken in a hurry to escape and catching a
local train.
What is this ? Who should be blamed ?
Are there anybody to help him or similar guys in Mumbai?
They say there are lot of organisations here in Mumbai
to
help out gays what are they doing ? Are they not
enquiring
into these kind of incidents and only hide inside?
Do they have guts to come out and declare GAY rights and
a
big revolution is expected soon to liberate gays in
Mumbai?
Who are the Gurus who are running these organisations
and
whom to be conatcted in case of such incidents?

What I find interesting about these hate postings that come
up fairly often is that the haters never post their email
address. This indicates to me they are unwilling and
unable to either understand or take responsibility for the
opinions which they express. Very infantile.
They understand that their rantings are both irrational and
unnacceptable to any civilised, mature person who would not
waste any time listening to them so they just get all het
up and explode all over the bulleting board. It isn't
really offensive, just messy and distasteful.
It must be very painful to live with so much hate inside
you. Does spilling your guts to an unsympatheitc audience
really help? Maybe its better their little explosions
happen here where they are basically harmless rather than
on the street where someone may be assaulted.

I think that something needs to be done to stop homophobes
from having their negative hateful posts from remaining in
the site for long enough. They should not stay for very
long, as they should be immediately deleted from the site,
so that it would not cause an unpleasant experience to those
of us, who are proud to be gay, and who come here in search
of a gay-positive environment where we can access first hand
travelling info.
There is no excuse for the presence of those postings here,
as they clearly violate the rules of the gay section of the
thorn tree.
i hope that a solution to this problem is found, and that
effective drastic measures are enforced to prevent such

Well, Well, Well, I don't think this sort of abuse is going
to make any difference to me or my partner, I think its a
sad person that needs to write such stuff. I don't care what
you or anyone else thinks about my lifestyle, I am happy,
content and have many friends, gay and straight, I have
childen who are healthy, happy and have many friends who are
aware of their parents 'lifestyle'. Since being Gay, or
coming out, I have never been happier, it is who I truely

I hike frequently throught Mexico, especially Central
Mexico, which is wonderful to hike, through mountains and
valleys, ravines, and so on. Some areas are densely
forested, others are rather dry. These ones are
particularly sensuous seen from the hights just before the
sun settles and the light is great. Masturbating in front
of such scenery is sublime. I'd like to share the
experience, just that, not necessarily with a gay man. I'm
not.
I propose to arrange for a Saturday or a Sunday outing in
the mountains north of Mexico City. We could go with
friends -they will probably not share this experience, not
even know about it: we'll just stay behind for a little
time. We would hike for four to five hours, and have a
memorable evening.

Im traveling to Vietnam in Sept/Oct and looking for advise
on plases to stay, beaches and night spots. I hope to visit
Halong Bay and the beaches south of Saigon. I enjoy out of
the way travel and destinations and have been through
Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. I have only spent 5 days in
Saigon about 4 years ago and found it fairly tourist
orientated but not so friendly.
Also may drop into Cambodia and would appreciate any up to
date info on Phnom Penh and Ankor.

OK- first off I hope that people will be able to answer this in a serious manner, because I know that it could easily become inflamed...
I am a gay man who travels abroad very often. I am not very open, but do 'come out' sometimes. I have spent a lot of time in Catholic dominated countries. What I am asking is this:
What are the so-called "Bible arguements" against homosexuality, AND, what sort of counter arguements, discussions, can we use to support our position.
I do not mean to justify- I mean to educate. That is, if someone has been living all of their life in a comparatively sheltered and conservative area, s/he might in good faith believe what her/his Book of faith says. So, in order to educate, and in a calm and collected manner, that which is in the Bible does not have to be construed as anti-homo propaganda, I wish to better acquaint myself with these arguements, even though they are distasteful to begin with.
I do not mean to patronize, but,
PLEASE try and be constructive, fair, and prcise-- what Biblical quotes are used as 'evidence' of homosexual behavior as deviant, and how can one explain those passges in other ways? Or explain how they may be - wrong?
This is travel related- as I see it- so I hope it is appropriate to place this here. I think that as ambassoadors of our lifestyles, whether we choose to be open or not, we are better off to prepared to battle the ignorance that ambodies a great many of our fellow eathlings.

I'm a gay Lonely Planet fan who opposes internet censorship
and believes that the internet is a completely effective and
acceptable for glbt correspondents to meet, discuss their
sexual likes and dislikes -- even indulge in cybersex if
that's what they're into. JUST NOT ON THIS SITE.
This is an important resource for gay travelers. There's no
better place that I know of to get the lowdown about what
areas are safe/unsafe, what particular laws, customs, etc.
to be on the watch for, and so on. It's also fine place to
look for people who share you interests and may be crossing
your path.
Still, I think we should be careful no to misuse this site
-- to post redundant ads for sex partners, post graphic
sexual remarks to general audiences, etc. I gather that
there are many closeted users out there who are unaware of
how to make contact in their own cities. While I'm in no
position to tell such users that their ads are a misuse of
LP's resources, may I suggest that anyone who wants to make
a "date" instead of posting generally useful information
follow-up on their interests in a one-on-one email.
Some of us are trying to understand the basic character and
customs of the places we're visiting, not inventory every
prospective sex partner (and their stats, desires, etc.) who
may or may not live there.

Does anyone out there have experience in extended
backpacking travel while also being HIV+? I've been
planning on backpacking thru India for 6-8 months (that was
before "IT" happened), but I'd still like to know if it's
even remotely possible or should I give up the daydreams of
ever backpacking again. Is it possible or will I be
constantly plagued with diarrhea and fatigue. (I realize
