I am looking for info on the lesbian life in NOLA. I am contemplating a move, and wonder what I can expect. I am currently an Ohian, but spent 9 years in SF/N. Calif. Can I expect the same general attitudes found there? Is it typical for people to be out in the work place? I am out and in some places, it is like being a circus freak, fun for a while but geez! Any advice on quiet safe urban neighborhoods, cost of living or info on a cheap place to stay during a visit is greatly appreciated.
