Becuase we moved to our own dedicated server and are
frequently upgrading it to remarkable speeds, there are better hosting options. There are
3 different hosting plans available to choose from if you have a Pokemon page. Remember to
sign up for hosting you must already have a working and complete Pokemon site. If your
site doesnt classify in any of these groups special arrangements can be made.
Fansite Subdomain Plan
This is for those small fansites that get less that
5000 visitors a day:
- subdomain address [http://yourname.upnetwork.com/]
- one email or alias [yourname@upnetwork.com]
- 20 megabytes of space
- virtually unlimited bandwidth
- private FTP access
- CGI and Perl access
- direct linking from the UPNetwork
- 1 forum on the BBS [http://bbs.upnetwork.com/]
General Subdomain Plan
For general sites that have lots of info and get over
5000 visitors a day:
- sub-domain address [http://yourname.upnetwork.com/]
- one email or alias [yourname@upnetwork.com]
- virtually unlimited space
- virtually unlimited bandwidth
- private FTP access
- CGI and Perl access
- direct linking from the UPNetwork
- up to 5 forums on the BBS [http://bbs.upnetwork.com/]
General Domain Plan
If you have a domain and classify as a general site
you get more options:
- domain address [http://domain]
- email/alias control panel [@domain]
- sub-domain options available [http://yourname.domain]
- virtually unlimited space
- virtually unlimited bandwidth
- private FTP access
- CGI and Perl access
- direct linking from the UPNetwork
- up to 5 forums on the BBS [http://bbs.upnetwork.com/]
Hosting Rules
There are rules and requirements to be hosted by the
UPNetwork
- 468x60 banner code required on all pages
- becuase our sponsors are exclusive you can't have your
own banners
- absolutely no ROMs on the server
- absolutely no ripped songs or episodes on the server
- absolutely no adult content on any of your pages
- your site must be updated frequently
- your site must have a good layout, or don't bother
