Between October 23 through 30, there will be a Beanie
Baby Convention aboard Holland-America's 5 Star Cruiseliner, the MS Ryndam. On board,
collectors will be able to talk about Beanie Babies and other collectables such as Magic:
The Gathering and yes, Pokemon! For two of the days of the cruise, vendors will be selling
collectable products for Beanie Babies, Magic and even Pokemon. If you are a true
collector, you can't miss out on this explosive convention! The cruise is mostly about
Beanie Babies, but there will be Pokemon. More information provided below. At the bottom
of this page, you can find out how to get purchasing information and more.
It's a real life SS Anne! And you can be almost
absolutely sure Team Rocket won't be there to wreak their havoc! That is unless you come
along with a Team Rocket costume for the costume party...

- Q&A with Beaniemom Sara Nelson -
This is your chance to ask those burning questions, or just to get an autograph!
- Two days of Vending - 11:AM to 1:00
PM the two days we are at sea. Your chance to buy, sell or trade with our 15 great venders
on board. They will offer more that just Beanie Baby items.
- Cocktail Party and Best Dressed Contest
- Wear you finest, and come meet and make friends with all the other Beanie Baby
enthusiasts. Pictures will be taken, prize to the best dressed.
- Costume Party - Dress as your
favorite Beanie! Prize to the best costumes. And I'm sure they will allow Pokemon costumes
too!
- Games - We will keep you puzzle,
trivia questions and Tri-Bond. Brush up on your Beanie knowledge.
- Treasure Chest Hunt - Hunt by
yourself, or with a team.
- Brush up on your knowledge of "Gillian's
Island" and "The Love Boat". You will be recieving clues from Beanie
Trivia, knowledge of the ship, and the above two series. It's fun and the winner takes
home a chest filled with $300.00 worth of Beanie and related items.
Purchasing Information
The primary cost of the cruise would be $900.00 for
each person, then down $650 after the second person. a total of $3,100.00 for a family of
four. In additon, port charges are $132.00 and you must provide your own transportation to
Fort Lauderdale on the day the MS Ryndam sets sail.
