The Safari Developer Program is a free program.

What are the system requirements for participating in the Safari Developer Program?

To develop Safari extensions and participate in the Safari Developer Program you must have the latest Safari release installed on your Mac or PC.

How can I distribute my Safari extensions?

You can distribute your extensions from your own website. In addition, if you are a member of the Safari Developer Program, you can submit your extensions to be considered for the Safari Extensions Gallery.

As a Safari Developer Program member, how can I receive technical support?

Members of the Safari Developer Program can purchase Technical Support Incidents to receive technical support, for developing Safari extensions. In addition, members of the Safari Developer Program can post their questions to the Apple Developer Forums.

Can I use an existing Apple ID to register as an Apple Developer or enroll in the Safari Developer Program?

Yes. You may use your existing Apple ID to register as an Apple Developer as well as enroll in the Safari Developer Program. If you are already a member of either the iPhone Developer Program or the Mac Developer Program, you can use your existing Apple ID to enroll in the Safari Developer Program. If you are enrolling as a company, and are already a member of either the iPhone Developer Program or the Mac Developer Program, we recommend you enroll using your existing Apple ID.
