Hello! I wanted to let you know about some of the new products that we've just released. The four products are WebDetour (a Mac Web CGI), FingerToys (a Finger Server), PowerGate (another Mac Web CGI), and Mondo Mail (a scriptable SMTP client). I've included our press releases about the first three. The fourth, a freebie, is Mondo Mail. Mondo Mail is an easy-to-use, reliable mail gateway for use on a web site. It's not a fancy program, but it has a few advantages over other alternatives. It's written in C, built from a well-tested and reliable code base, is friendly to other applications on the system, and is free. It also has a failsafe "kill file" where undeliverable mail and associated errors are written. Absoft ships F90 (beta) for Power Mac Absoft is now shipping the world's first F90 for Power Macintosh. The F90 SDK (beta) includes: native compiler, linker, debugger, make, graphics, and several utilities. The initial beta release does not contain support for Mac specific features including Toolbox. The compiler incorporates a version of Cray Research's F90 front end (also used by Sun) so code should be very portable between Mac/Sun/Cray. All registered beta users will receive the final production version at no additional charge.
