Management DOES ***TRY*** to teach them a good work ethic - but they aren't going to learn it if they don't want to, and the sad thing is, many teens don't...and that IS NOT some excuse, it is the truth . If you don't think it is, you're living in LALA Land.

OK, please listen to me. The average McDonald's serves around 2000 orders a day. Let's say that a 17 year old is working an 8-5 shift on a saturday. that's 9 hours of the 17 hours McD's is open. So this person is going tobe around for, say, 1000 of those 2000 orders. IT IS HARD to try and treat everyone like an individual and make every sandwich perfect! YOU try it sometime, it's alot to put on a 17y/o kid.

I agree w/ you. Many teens CAN do their job, and do it well. But the stores that are run like this are dwindling...as more and more francises go up, Corporate is forced to make comprimises (unforunetly)
