XML

File format, based on a similar format to HTML (the Web page format). XML files are text based and are easy to edit or read in a normal text editor or word processor. XML files are easily portable between operating systems and are well suited to forward and backwards compatibility between different versions of a software program. EditStudio use XML in its .eds project files.
