DIN Connector

DIN connectors are typically round connectors with 3 or more pins surrounded by an other shield. DIN connectors are used to connect together older audio equipment or to connect S-Video video equipment.

DV

DV is an acronym for Digital Video. DV is used to describe equipment (typically camcorders) that use the standard DV video cassettes. Most popular DV camcorders actually use the mini-DV standard.
