Fun Way to Send Attachments in Mail

If you're working in a file that you want to attach to a message in Apple Mail, you can transfer the file to Mail easily: From the title bar of the file's window, drag the little proxy icon to Mail's icon on the Dock. Your Mac will make Mail the active application and open a new outgoing message, with the file attached.

(If your icon won't drag, the file probably isn't saved.)

Adam Interviewed by Peachpit Publisher Nancy Aldrich-Ruenzel

After working through a comedy of inexplicable telephone-related glitches, I had an interesting chat last week with Nancy Aldrich-Ruenzel, the publisher of Peachpit Press and as a result, one of the most powerful women in the Macintosh industry. We talked about a few of our favorite features in iPhoto and Leopard, how we handle the fast pace of the industry, what I think about the Mac community, my opinions on social networking tools like Twitter and Facebook, and just what my action figure carries in his holster. It's about 17 minutes of audio and well worth a listen.
