Amazon MP3/iTunes Article Slashdotted

Last weekend, our server got its first serious workout when my article "Amazon MP3 Takes on the iTunes Store" (2007-09-25) was featured on Slashdot. As far as we can tell, the server held up. Since then, the article has received over 40,000 hits, about 33,000 of them from Slashdot readers. Not surprisingly, about 95 percent of those people viewed only that page, and we didn't see a notable uptick in subscriptions, but hey, it's great to see people visiting. Alas, it being Slashdot, there isn't enough time in the day to read all the comments.
