No TidBITS Next Week -- TidBITS is taking next week off, so you won't see our next issue until 20-Oct-97. However, we plan to add items to TidBITS Updates on Web site, and NetBITS will appear as usual Thursday night. We could say the vacation relates to Columbus Day in the U.S., but that's not so, and the Columbus myth propagandized in U.S. schools doesn't bear much resemblance to reality anyway.
