Some older games may run too fast on later machines, especially if you are using Virtual Acorn on a fast PC. Using the Slow Motion module lets you slow down the computer to make the game more playable. (Also very useful if it's you that's running too slow rather than the game that's too fast).

Note for emulator users. All the 4D games CDs have an installation program that must be run from within RISC OS. This is no problem when using Virtual Acorn with an internal CD ROM drive but if you are using a freeware emulator or a laptop with a USB CD ROM drive you might not have access to the CD ROM from within RISC OS so this may not be possible. You can still install the games by copying the complete !Install application from the CD onto the hard disc folder used by the emulator from within Windows. Download this little file typeset.zip. and again place it in the HardDisc folder. Now run the emulator and extract the contents of this archive (a single 'Obey' file called SetTypes and place it in the same directory as the !Install program. Double-click on the SetTypes file and you should now find that you can run the !Install program and install the games.
