TCO
All
DIAMONDTRON
monitors from Mitsubishi Electric fulfil the directives and recommendations
of TCO '92 and TCO '95.
 |
TCO
'92 evaluates the effects of electromagnetic fields on a monitor's screen,
the energy utilisation as well as its electrical and fire-prevention safety. |
 |
TCO
'95 is the first global environmental protection quality certificate and
a comprehensive quality standard for all PC components such
as monitors, processors, servers and networked workstations. |
Here, the monitors screen represents the main component to be regulated due to the effects of radiation and other emissions. Ergonomic qualities, noise and heat effects, energy utilisation and ecological aspects, e.g. the avoidance of CFCs and environmentally harmful heavy metals, are
evaluated.
