Plug-ins

Plug-ins are additional programs which provide specific support for particular types of media - support that isn't built directly into iBrowse. For example, if a web page plays a midi tune you might require a plug-in to play it.

The difference between plug-ins and external viewers is that a plug-in deals with the media "invisibly". To all intents and purposes it appears that it is iBrowse doing the work, while in reality there is actually a plug-in running in the background. An external viewer, on the other hand, while dealing with the media would normally open its own window for the purpose rather than seamlessly utilise the browser window.

To install plug-ins for iBrowse you simply drop them into the Plug-ins drawer and iBrowse does the rest.TOP
