PlusOffice Mac will be available for purchase in January 2009 for Intel-based Macs. PlusOffice is an open source software, sharing the code with OpenOffice.org and offering Mac OS X users the same functionality. PlusOffice incorporates all OpenOffice.org applications: Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, Base and Math, as well as other features including: PDF export and import, full support for Open Document Format (ODF) 1.2 and possibility to open documents in MS Office Open XML. Final Cut Studio users and digital filmmakers from around the world will gather together once again for the 8th Annual FCPUG "SuperMeet" to be held Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco, California.
