Cyberduck 3.1

Cyberduck 3.1 Released

Bern, Switzerland, Jan 08, 2009

I am pleased to announce the release of Cyberduck 3 for the Mac. This is an
important milestone for Cyberduck, most notably introducing native support
for uploading files to two major content distribution services in the
cloud. Both Amazon CloudFront (in conjunction with Amazon S3) and Cloud
Files from Rackspace can be easily configured from within Cyberduck.
Additionally to these major new features, we continue to further improve
the integration with OS X (see below) and enhance WebDAV interoperability.

The changes in the release furthermore include:
- [Feature] Amazon CloudFront Support (S3)
- [Feature] Cloud Files Support (Mosso) [#2745]
- [Feature] Pre-configured protocol settings for MobileMe iDisk (WebDAV)
- [Feature] Send arbitrary commands over SSH using the 'Send
Command...' interface (SFTP) [#3]
- [Feature] Archive and unarchive files and folders (ZIP, TAR etc.)
(SFTP) [#2376]
- [Feature] Clickable URL fields
- [Feature] Set quarantine attribute for launch services of downloaded
files
- [Feature] Finder displays URL of downloaded files in 'Where from' in
'Get Info' window
- [Feature] Download folder in Dock bounces once when download
finishes (10.5)
- [Feature] Read IdentityFile setting from OpenSSH configuration in
~/.ssh/config (SFTP) [#152]
- [Feature] Default transfer setting for regular expression of skipped
files includes GIT and others [#2829]
- [Feature] Added QuickLook button to toolbar configuration
- [Feature] Display Favicon for Web URL if available in bookmark window
- [Feature] NTLM Authentication (WebDAV) [#2835]
- [Bugfix] Uploads fail with digest access authentication (WebDAV)
[#2268]
- [Bugfix] Microsoft SharePoint interoperability (WebDAV) [#2223]

Refer to the changelog at http://cyberduck.ch/changelog/ and
http://trac.cyberduck.ch/query?status=closed&milestone=3.1
for a complete list of new features and bug fixes.

Users can upgrade using the automatic 'Check for Update...' feature. Please
note that you are required to run OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or later for Cyberduck
3. Some features such as QuickLook may require OS X 10.5.

Cyberduck is an open source FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, Mosso Cloud Files and Amazon
S3 browser for the Mac. It features an easy to use interface with quickly
accessible bookmarks. The outline view of the browser allows to browse
large folder structures efficiently and you can quickly preview files with
Quick Look. To edit files, a seamless integration with several external
editors makes it easy to change content quickly. Both Amazon CloudFront and
Cloud Files from Rackspace can be easily configured to distribute your
content in the cloud. Many OS X core system technologies such as Spotlight,
Bonjour and the Keychain are supported and a large number translations
makes you feel at home. Localizations are available in English, Czech,
Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian,
Portuguese, Slovak, Spanish, Chinese (Traditional & Simplified Han),
Russian, Swedish, Hungarian, Danish, Polish, Indonesian, Catalan, Welsh,
Thai, Turkish, Hebrew, Latvian and Greek.
