WebSTAR Server Suite 4.4 Beta at Macworld San Francisco.

4D, Inc., publishers of the 4th Dimension RAD/RDBMS Environment and WebSTAR
Server Suite, announced today that WebSTAR Server Suite 4.4 Beta will be
demonstrated January 9-12, 2001 at Macworld Expo San Francisco 2001.

The WebSTAR Server Suite 4.4 Public Beta features 4th Dimension relational
database integration, support for Tomcat's JSP and Java Servlet services, a
customizable Web interface for WebSTAR Mail and built-in FlexMail support
for a customized web-mail interface. 4D will demonstrate these enhancements
and more at Macworld Expo San Francisco 2001 in Booth #1442.

community with the highest quality product possible," said Brendan Coveney,
president, 4D, Inc. "We are excited about this release's improvements and
additions to WebSTAR's integrated support for industry standards."

WebSTAR 4.4 Beta Features.

WebSTAR 4.4 will offer users direct integration between WebSTAR Server
Suite and 4th Dimension relational databases, support for Tomcat Java
Servlet and JSP technology, a customizable web-based mail interface,
built-in FlexMail form-processing utilities, and stronger encryption for
international customers. Several improvements to the core WebSTAR Server
are also included to improve overall performance and reliability.

Availability.

WebSTAR Server Suite 4.4 Beta is expected to be available for download from
the WebSTAR web site by January 12, 2001.
