Vvidget: Data Exploration Using Cover Flow and Quick Look
March 12, 2008

VVI today announced version 10.5.2 release of Vvidget which includes:

- Quick Look: All data visualization documents made with Vvidget Builder
are now browsable through the Mac OS X Finder, including Cover Flow, List
and Icon views. This gives immediate access using familiar Finder controls
and enables a powerful instant-on data browsing tool.

- Unleash Corporate Data: Documents can have built-in queries to relational
databases such as Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL. Thus the Vvidget can give
immediate visualization of data stored in enterprise databases right
through the Finder1.

- Custom Cover Flow Interfaces: Scientists, engineers and analysts can
store data files on the file system and browse them in graph format using
custom Cover Flow plugins for a powerful data visualization browser and
explorer2.

- Speed Increase: All applications based on Vvidget Code, including those
utilizing Cover Flow and Quick Look features, are dramatically faster.

Tens of thousands of Mac users have downloaded Vvidget, making it one of
the most popular point-and-click graphing solutions for Mac OS X. That same
software is used to automate graphs for desktop applications, dashboard
widgets and web sites. Vvidget has been used for years by Mac independent
software vendors, corporate developers and technical professionals because
it is easy to use, integrates seamlessly with the application development
tools provided with Mac OS X, is widely available with free download of the
base system and can be combined and redistributed with developer's own
applications.

Pricing And Availability:

The Vvidget Builder GUI tool is free and can be downloaded at
http://www.vvidget.org . To automate graphs for desktop applications and
dashboard widgets, Vvidget Code can now be purchased online for Commercial
Use ($189) or Educational Use ($79) which includes the new Interface
Builder plugin.
