Unicore's Macintosh and Gigabit Ethernet Support to NAServers

For Immediate Release

Unicore Technologies adds Macintosh and Gigabit Ethernet Support to NAServers

North Chelmsford, MA, February 12, 2001 - Unicore Technologies Corporation,
a global manufacturer of Network Attached Storage (NAS), and a worldwide
provider of Storage Area Networks (SAN), today announced the availability
of Macintosh and Gigabit Ethernet support in their 10-HA, 10R, 350, and
350R model NAServer products.

"Industries such as media publishing are demanding high performance
storage, and Mac connectivity. We've added the power of Gigabit Ethernet
and the flexibility of Macintosh support to our family of NAServers," said
David Marchioni, Unicore Technologies' Director of Products & Support. "We
continue to provide exceptional performance, and true plug-and-play
simplicity."

NAServer is a powerful embedded thin file server that provides inexpensive
network storage access for UNIX, Novell, Windows, and Macintosh clients.
NAServer attaches to any 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, or 1000Base-TX/SF Ethernet
LAN. It is auto-configuring, and supports multiple high-speed SCSI storage
devices.

"With Gigabit Ethernet speed and Macintosh support," said leading graphics
industry consultant Rick Littrell, "Unicore Technologies offers the
Mac-dominated graphics design and production industry an ideal combination
of low cost, easy integration, and high performance storage."

All NAServers provide heterogeneous out-of-box support for UNIX, Novell,
NT, Direct AppleTalk/IP, Web, and FTP. NAServer models range from a 1U 19"
rackmount unit with up to 320GB of storage capacity, to Deskside models
scaling to more than 1TB of storage. Models support hot swappable drives,
RAID 0, 1, and 5, and have redundant power supplies.
