Hard Candy Cases, an electronics accessory startup from veteran iPod
accessory-maker Tim Hickman, former GM of Speck Products, introduces
t hard-shell protective cases for the newest MacBook 13-inch
polycarbonate unibody.
Hard Candy Cases (http://www.hardcandycases.com) are available in six
colors: -- black, blue, red, pink, white and clear - and come
complete with a molded-in bubble design. With models created
specifically for the new MacBook 13-inch and MacBook Pro 13-inch, the
polycarbonate shell snaps on securely and stays put even through
repeated handling, says Hickman.
The model-specific cases offer complete access to all batteries and
ports and are fully vented for total heat dissipation. First
available this week at HardCandyCases.com, Bubble Shells for MacBooks
have a retail price of US$49.95. Additional models, including a
ruggedized design, will be introduced in the coming months.
