The new utility recovers picture files accidentally erased from digital
camera and any storage media.

Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, (September 29th, 2004)---SubRosaSoft.com Ltd.,
a software company based in New Zealand focusing on system utility and
privacy software, today announced the immediate availability of
CameraSalvage version 2.0. CameraSalvage is an easy to use application that
has been designed to recover picture and movie files that have been deleted
intentionally or accidentally from your digital camera or your storage
media.

"Digital cameras have replaced traditional film as the choice of cameras.
Not only do they rival the traditional film based cameras in terms of
picture quality, there is no need to wait for film processing. But unlike
film based camera, contents of a digital camera are more prone to accidents
such as corrupted storage media, or accidental erasure." States Ben Slaney,
co-author of CameraSalvage. "With CameraSalvage, it will read the erased
media and recover as many photos and movies as possible. CameraSalvage is
one of the best solutions available to recover those once in a lifetime
moments you thought were gone forever."

"CameraSalvage supports various file formats and many storage media.
CameraSalvage can recover any JPEG, TIFF, PNG, AVI, MOV, ASF and RealMedia
files from your camera's storage media and place them in a folder on your
drive. " Said Ben Slaney. "It is compatible with most Memory Sticks,
SmartMedia, CompactFlash I & II, SD/XD Cards, CD's and hard disks."

"Like many of our applications, CameraSalvage is extremely straight forward
to use. CameraSalvage's easy-to-use interface was designed for all OS X
users. The whole recovery operation can be completed with a few clicks."
Concluded Marko Kostyrko, co-author of CameraSalvage and CEO of
SubRosaSoft.com Ltd.

Written specifically for Mac OS X, CameraSalvage includes powerful features
that give a user greater flexibility and control in recovering the content
of his/her digital camera's storage media.

* Safety first - CameraSalvage will never write to the media you are
salvaging data from.

* Works anywhere - CameraSalvage is device and file system independent.

* Skips used space - CameraSalvage will optionally only scan the free space
to improve recovery speed and overall efficiency (on apple formatted HFS+
volumes).

* Recovers files after the device was initialized - CameraSalvage will
recover your files from an initialized media too.

* Recovers files from corrupt media - It will process any intact data on
the disk and recover whole or partial files wherever they can be found.
