Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, (May 29th, 2002)--- SubRosaSoft,Ltd., a newly
formed company based in New Zealand focused in security and privacy
software, today announced the immediate availability of SubRosa Volume
1-File Utilities. Previously licensed to FWB Software, SubRosa Vol. 1 is
the first of many new security software developed exclusively by
SubRosaSoft.

Volume 1 of SubRosa comes with a trio of easy-to-use security utilities.
SubRosa Encryptor allows a user to take files and folders and encrypt them
into a secure format. Subrosa Shredder securely erases files or folders
from your computer and SubRosa Decryptor is used to convert files made by
Encryptor back into their original format.

"Most early adopters of SubRosa Vol. 1 found it amazingly easy to use,"
explained Marko Kostryko--SubRosa Volume 1's creator. "Behind its simple
user interface is a highly secure encryption engine. SubRosa Encryptor
employs a proprietary technology similar to that used with online banking
(128-bit dynamic encryption with rolling keys, stream encryption). Various
new innovations have been designed to make the algorithm unique and
substantially more secure."

SubRosa Shredder permanently deletes un-wanted files. "Dragging your files
into the trash can and emptying will not remove your files completely. The
files can still be recovered with software or hardware. If you have
sensitive material you need to erase, a shredding software is a must."
stated Marko. He continued, "When SubRosa Shredder goes to work, it
overwrites the entire contents of the files with an industry recognized
secure pattern, thereby reducing the chance of recovering the deleted files
to zero."

will be eligible for a free upgrade to the latest version of SubRosa Vol.
1, which includes improvements such as support for Apple Script and
compatibility with OSX's long files names." Marko Kostryko concluded.

Pricing, Availability and System Requirements

SubRosa Volume 1 is now available at the manufacturer's suggested retail
price (MSRP) of US$24.95.

SubRosa Volume 1 (Macintosh) requires System 8.6 or later, including Max OS
X, Power Macintosh CPU, and 8 MB of available RAM.

SubRosa Volume 1 (Windows) requires Windows 98 or later, and 8 MB of
available RAM.
