announced that the private release of StuffIt InstallerMaker(tm), version
6.5.2, is now available as golden master to the public at large. The latest
version of InstallerMaker takes advantage of the USB Software Locator in
Mac OS(9) 9 which provides for automatic installation of USB drivers.
Aladdin continues to work closely with Apple to ensure complete
compatibility with the much-anticipated Mac OS X. InstallerMaker will
support the creation of Mac OS X installers. A free, one-year license of
InstallerMare 6.5.2 is available to USB developers, as announced at Apple's
Worldwide Developer's Conference (WWDC).

InstallerMaker, the complete installation and data distribution standard,
provides the best solution for developers who want to create complex,
professional installers; demoware; trialware; and more; in less time and
with minimal effort.

InstallerMaker 6.5.2 requires a Macintosh with a PowerPC processor, running
System 6.5.2.1 or newer, with at least 12 MB hard drive space and 8 MB
available memory (RAM). InstallerMaker 6.5.2 creates installers for Mac OS
8.1 or later. Technical support is free for licensed developers.
