SAN DIEGO, California (May 11, 2005) - SQLabs today announced the
availability of SQLitePluginPro 1.4, their SQLite 2 database engine plugin
for REALbasic. This update includes the most recent version of SQLite 2, as
well as a number of enhancements and bug fixes.

REAL Software recently announced that they will be offering a new
single-user database engine based on SQLite 3 in an upcoming release of
REALbasic. REALbasic developers who want to begin developing SQLite
database applications can do so today with SQLitePluginPro. Furthermore,
SQLabs is also offering SQLiteManager, its SQLite database management
software, for free with every license of SQLitePluginPro. SQLiteManager
reads and writes both SQLite 2 and SQLite 3 databases. When SQLite appears
in REALbasic, SQLitePluginPro users need only to convert their SQLite 2
databases to SQLite 3 with SQLiteManager, and they will be ready to
continue working.

SQLitePluginPro 1.4 is a free upgrade for all current users. New
