Sorenson 360 platform now delivers customizable player, security

Sorenson Media (http://www.sorensonmedia.com) today announced several
significant video management enhancements to its Sorenson 360 Video
Delivery Network (VDN), providing video professionals with the
ability to more fully control the functionality and branding of the
Sorenson 360 video player. Users can now incorporate their own
identities, including company logos, into Sorenson 360. Video
professionals can also create unlimited players, and customize a
variety of key settings for each player -- from screen modes to
content sharing and specifying a particular branded player for each
video.

In addition, the update provides a seamless password-protected
workflow. Video professionals can now use Sorenson 360 to manage and
limit access to specific videos, using a separate password for each
video. Sorenson 360's high-quality browser-based encoding
capabilities have been further enhanced, enabling customers -- many
of whom already use the industry-leading Sorenson Squeeze encoding
application -- to even more quickly and easily encode video without
the need to download or install additional software. This unique
process harnesses the power of the Sorenson Squeeze encoding engine
through the Web browser, provides video professionals more control
over their online video assets, and significantly reduces encode and
upload times.

"Our customers spoke, and our team quickly responded with these
enhancements," said Peter Csathy, CEO of Sorenson Media. "Sorenson
360 users can now utilize the industry's highest-quality,
easiest-to-use video publishing platform to leverage their brands
across the Internet. Quite simply, our re-imagined and differentiated
video publishing platform -- which we call our unique video delivery
network or VDN -- now gives customers even more of what they have
been asking for: the ability to brand their own video players and to
securely share videos with their clients."

Today's announced enhancements mark another significant milestone for
Sorenson 360, and strengthen Sorenson Media's tradition of continuous
industry-leading product innovation for video professionals. Since
its introduction in May 2009, the Sorenson 360 VDN has quickly gained
a reputation for unparalleled quality, control, ease-of-use and
affordability as an all-in-one hosted service that serves as a
complete Internet video solution for video professionals, small- to
medium-size businesses and other creators and distributors of video
content.

"Only Sorenson 360 features the power of client-side encoding and the
Sorenson Squeeze encoding engine, which video professionals recognize
as resulting in the highest possible video quality," Csathy added.
"Video professionals also can take solace in Sorenson Media's 14-year
track record of innovation and strength as a company and service
provider, qualities essential for video professionals looking for a
company to entrust their prized video assets."
