New CDN Offering Free Service to Accelerate
Web Sites Getting Fast Market Acceptance
ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN Nearly 200 Web sites worldwide have signed up
for the web acceleration service offered by SolidSpeed Networks, Inc.
since launch 15 days ago.
That quick start is a good omen because SolidSpeed has projected
servicing at least 1,000 web sites by year's end, says Dean Massab,
Vice President of Marketing and Sales for SolidSpeed Networks.
"We've gotten a very positive reaction from web sites trying our
service," says Massab. "Many web owners have seen accelerations of

page load time go from 13 seconds to 1.5 seconds."

and server capacity in Europe.
The solution was developed by Jon Zeeff, a highly respected Internet
infrastructure expert who is Chief Technology Officer of SolidSpeed.
Zeeff introduced the first shopping mall on the Internet and founded
an Internet Service Provider business (Branch Internet) very early in
1993.
