ST. CLAIR SOFTWARE RELEASES SCREEN CATCHER 2.2

Screen capture tool delivers Mac OS 9.1 compatibility and new file formats

(Youngstown, OH -- January 25, 2001) St. Clair Software announced today
that version 2.2 of Screen Catcher, their popular screen capture utility,
is now available.

Screen Catcher 2.2 is fully compatible with Mac OS 9.1. It also now takes
advantage of QuickTime 4, allowing users to open and save files in all
major bitmapped graphics formats. These include PICT, GIF, JPEG, TIFF, BMP,
PNG, Photoshop, and more. In addition, compatibility problems have been
addressed with Netscape 6, Carbon applications, Chronos Personal Organizer,
and Thursby's DAVE file sharing client.

Screen Catcher is a scriptable screen capture utility that includes a
unique Catch-All feature which auto-scrolls windows to capture entire
documents. This capability, combined with flexible scaling, color palette
control, and increasingly broad file format support, has made Screen
Catcher the tool of choice for both professionals and casual users.
