Boca Raton, FL June 18, 2002 =96 I.R.I.S. Group announces today Readiris Pro
7, a software product that easily converts paper documents into electronic
files. It allows home and business users to quickly and accurately
transform paper documents (letters, magazines, faxes, etc.) into editable
files. Readiris Pro 7 preserves the original document layout perfectly with
its columns, graphics, tables and color pictures. The newest version of
Readiris Pro has added valuable new features:

* Recognition and conversion of scanned business cards (exported into
contact management software such as AppleWorks 6 and Outlook Express)

* A new OCR engine for superior accuracy and speed

* Extensive PDF and HTML support

* Digital Camera recognition

* Automatic page orientation detection

* Recognition of multi-page documents (saved in a single word processing fil=
e)

* Supports Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese (94
languages in total)

System requirements

Mac OS X: Mac OS computer with a G3 processor, the operating system Mac OS
X version 10.01 or later. Version 10.1 is recommended, 60 MB of free hard
disk space.

Mac OS 9.x: Mac OS computer with a PowerPC processor. QuickTime 4.0. 32 MB
free RAM and 60 MB of free hard disk space are requested.

Journalists can register on the I.R.I.S. Extranet web site by clicking on
the link http://www.irislink.com/partners/press/index.html. They will
receive a personal login and password to access the Extranet web site where
more corporate and product information is available.
