Donagrandi Software Announces New RBdbMaker Version 1.2 with OS X and
Windows Beta versions

Application from Independent Developer Is Now AppleScriptable and Recordable

Chicago, Illinois -- Independent Macintosh Developer, Donagrandi Software,
publicly announces the availability of RBdbMaker v.1.2, a development
environment tool for REALbasic developers using REALbasic's built-in
database engine. RBdbMaker v.1.2 can be downloaded from
http://home.earthlink.net/~donagrandi/Software.html.

Building on the initial release of Donagrandi Software's first application,
RBdbMaker v.1.2 contains a number of new features. The SQL console
application was built with REALbasic 3.1 Professional, and now supports
blob fields and the ALTER TABLE SQL command. Donagrandi Software also
built-in four AppleScript commands that are also recordable. A sample
script is included with the distribution to demonstrate the basics of using
AppleScript with RBdbMaker. Lastly, RBdbMaker is available for Mac OS 8.6,
9.x on PowerPC, OS X and Windows each separately available via the website.
The Windows and OS X builds remain in beta because they are untested on
their platforms.

Unlike other database editor applications for REALbasic, RBdbMaker v.1.2's
focus is on the developer, not the end-user. More than the need to visually
create his database, a developer needs to test SQL commands that he or she
will utilize within code, have an ability to save those commands as stored
procedures, and be able to call those commands again. RBdbMaker v.1.2 links
hands-on development with code, whereas other freeware or shareware
products advertising the same functionality focus on the glitz of a
graphical interface more directed to an end-user.

RBdbMaker is first in a line of Macintosh software products that Mr.
Donagrandi will develop independently, including vertical-market
applications and interactive games.

RBdbMaker v.1.2 is offered as $15 shareware and is downloadable from Mr.
Donagrandi's website at

First-time use of the application will bring up a message box urging the
user to register the software. Users of RBdbMaker can purchase a
registration key from Kagi Order Processing at http://order.kagi.com/?35G&S
for $15.
