Radioshift for Mac OS X updated to version 1.5

Radioshift for Mac OS X updated to version 1.5

Rogue Amoeba has released Radioshift 1.5
(http://www.rogueamoeba.com/radioshift/), an update of the Internet
radio player and recorder. The new version brings support for
thousands of web streams previously only available via web players.

Hundreds of new streams in Windows Media Pro and QuickTime streaming
formats are now supported. Streaming reliability has also been
improved, and Radioshift will now restart streams when they err --
and use back-up streams where available as well. Other improvements
in Radioshift 1.5 range from an improved interface to support for
streaming with Airfoil to fixes for dozens of minor bugs and crashes.
With all this, Radioshift 1.5 is far and away the best version of
Radioshift ever made.

Like a personal video recorder (PVR) for radio, Radioshift enables
internet and AM/FM radio to be recorded automatically and listened to
at any time. The built-in Radio Guide lets you subscribe to programs
with a single click. Radioshift then runs in the background,
recording and saving audio automatically.

Radioshift is also useful for listening to radio live. Over 100,000
programs and stations from around the world are at your fingertips
with the built-in Radio Guide. And with Radioshift, streams from many
different audio formats are all accessible in one player, including
the QuickTime, Windows Media, and RealAudio formats.

Radioshift is immediately available as a free trial for Mac OS X 10.5
and up, and can be downloaded from the Radioshift web site. In its
trial state, Radioshift is fully functional but will degrade audio
quality after 20 minutes of playback or recording. Radioshift can be
purchased at the Rogue Amoeba online store for US$32.
