Quicky Wireless Transceiver Antenna

Quicky Wireless Transceiver Antenna

Quicky Wireless Transceiver Antenna Doubles Wireless Performance USB
Connects it to Apple PowerBooks

WICHITA, Kan. --11/02/2006-- QuickerTek has debuted the first
Transceiver/Antenna for wireless networking that only requires a USB
port. The Quicky boosts wireless range and signal strength at least
twice the standard range of the 12-, 15- and 17-inch Apple PowerBooks.

The Quicky is a small product that easily clips (temporarily) to the
PowerBook case top and features a small antenna. The Quicky is a
unique combination of the power of a Transceiver product and an
antenna. It requires no computer skills to either set up or use and
is completely transparent to the PowerBook user. Once Quicky is
clipped to the case and the short USB cord is plugged into the
PowerBook's USB port, it's ready to use.

Quicky has 500 milliwatts of RF (wireless) power - that's ten times
the amount that the best PowerBook can muster. The Quicky, with it's
built-in antenna, clipped to the PowerBook case is up and out of the
restrictions of the PowerBook chassis and therefore affords better
signal reception. So, users get both more power and an antenna that
is free from the small (if not stunningly handsome) PowerBook case.

"Quicky is revolutionizing wireless networking for Mac users. You
don't have to open the PowerBook case to attach any cables. You just
plug Quicky in and it works. Any Mac user can make it work, and work
it does, creating a more powerful wireless connection to networks
beyond the range of the standard PowerBook. We believe that once
you've seen it work, you won't want to use anything else to boost
your wireless performance," stated Rick Estes, president, QuickerTek,
Inc.

Quicky works with all 802.11/b/g WiFi equipment from common
manufacturers such as Linksys, dLink, Belkin, including Apple AirPort
and AirPort Extreme. It works with all AirPort-supported PowerBooks
and requires no software drivers or extra steps each time you want to
go online. When online users will not only see more available
wireless networks, but also connect to them at full speeds.

Like most QuickerTek products, Quicky is backed with a one-year
warranty on parts and labor. Additional product information is found
at (http://www.quickertek.com/Quicky.php).

QuickerTek has been a recognized leading innovator of antennas and RF
products for Apple Power Macintosh, Mac Pro, iMac PPC and Intel,
PowerBook, MacBook and MacBook Pro computers. QuickerTek products can
