PRINCETON TOPS OFF MULTIMEDIA DISPLAY LINE WITH 36" MODEL

INFOCOMM - Anaheim, CA. (June 15, 2000) - Princeton Graphic Systems,
manufacturer of multiple award-winning HDTV monitors, computer and
convergence displays, introduces the ARCADIA T-series AR3.6T multimedia
display. The 4:3 direct-view 36" CRT completes Princeton's line of
versatile, high-performan ce, HDTV-ready, NTSC TV receiver and XGA computer
monitors. In applications such as conference rooms, home theaters and
classrooms where performance, size, value and versatility are important,
these displays support NTSC video, 480p (DTV), 1080i and 720p HDTV formats
as well as VGA, SVGA and XGA (1024 x 768) graphics from PC and Macintosh
computer sources. The AR3.6T is scheduled to begin shipping immediately
with a suggested retail price of $3,299.00.

The Arcadia T-series 36" viewable display will feature a phosphor stripe
pitch of 0.90mm yielding superb rendition of DTV and computer signals with
clarity, detail and color accuracy. With an auto-sync horizontal scanning
frequency of 30-52kHz, the display is capable of displaying 720p HDTV
signals in their native mode. 720p display capability is a rarity in
digital-ready and HD sets because of the format's high horizontal scanning
frequency of 45 kHz. Featuring multiple inputs to accommodate a variety of
applications, the display is also compatible with NTSC, PAL video and VGA,
SVGA and XGA resolutions from PC or Macintosh computer sources. A built-in
NTSC tuner, built-in line doubler, wireless remote control and a powerful
12W x 2 amplifier with audio speakers complete the display's versatility.

"Our product goal for the initial T-series offerings (27" and 32" models)
was to design and manufacture affordable multimedia, direct-view
TV/HD/computer
monitors, " said William Wang, President and Chief Executive Officer of
Princeton Graphic Systems. "Based upon the tremendous response to those
products by endusers and critics alike, we our now proud to introduce a 36"
version. With the convergence of consumer electronics and computer
technologies, end users now demand that their new display devices be
compatible
with computer, HDTV and standard video formats. With these three models, we
have accommodated all of these formats with a maximized viewing experience."

To improve the resolution of all standard video sources including the TV
tuner or DVD, Princeton has included picture performance-enhancing
refinements such as a built-in line doubler. The system creates a
progressive-s canned 480p image from standard NTSC sources such as TV,
satellite, VCR and DVD players. The result is increased picture resolution
and detail without interlaced scan lines.
The display features an impressive input/output array for maximum
versatility. Rear panel connections include one composite input with
left/right audio on RCA, one S-Video input on mini-DIN with left/right
audio on RCA, one F connector for CATV or Antenna RF input, one VGA input
(RGBHV) on a 15-pin HD connector with mini-jack audio, and one VGA output
(RGBHV) on a 15-pin HD connector with left/right audio on RCA. The front
panel also allows convenient source input via one VGA (RGBHV) on a 15-pin
HD connector with left/right audio on RCA.

Responsibly engineered to be FCC-class B, UL, CUL, and DHHS compliant,
the Arcadia AR3.6T display includes a limited on-site warranty of one year
on parts, CRT and labor supported by a network of 3,300 service profession
als. At 223lbs. the display will accommodate most installations with a
enclosure measuring 35.6"(W) x 29.5"(H) x 29.375"(D).

Other Arcadia T-series displays which are also available now include the
AR3.2T (32" viewable) and AR2.7T (27" viewable) and are offered with SRPs
of $1,999.00 and $1,429.00 respectively.
