PopChar X 2.2 - adds automatic font detection for many popular applications

Hagenberg, October-18-2004, ergonis software today announced the immediate
availability of PopChar X 2.2, the highly acclaimed tool for "typing"
unusual characters easily without having to remember keyboard combinations.

"Up to now, PopChar X could guess the current font in only a few
applications and users had to manually choose the required font in
many situations. Version 2.2 makes automatic font detection now available
for all applications that have a regular Font menu in the menu bar,
including Word, Excel, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, InDesign, FileMaker and
BBEdit. This will be a huge time-saver for our customers!" said
Christoph Reichenberger, founder and CEO of ergonis software.

Besides the improved font detection, the update incorporates several other
improvements, as well as some bug fixes.

PopChar X 2.2 is a recommended update for all users of earlier versions
of PopChar X. The upgrade is free for customers having purchased their
license within the last two years. If the 2 years update period has
expired, they can purchase a 2 years update renewal.

Whereas other software vendors offer upgrades at a reduced price for
just a single new version, macility licenses cover ALL subsequent
releases of PopChar X and PopChar Pro within two years, starting with
the date of purchase.
