Plasq Updates Comic Life To 1.2

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PLASQ UPDATES COMIC LIFE FOR OS X TO 1.2

New features include Curvy balloon tails, additional built in fonts,
updated styles and bug fixes.

South Carolina, USA and Melbourne, Australia (September 28th, 2005) - plasq
today announced the immediate availability of Comic Life 1.2 (Update) for
Mac OS X.

Comic Life - Expand what you can do with your digital photos!

plasq announces the latest 1.2 update to their award winning "Comic Life"
comic creation software. The update brings a range of new features and
improvements; including highly-requested 'curly tails' for speech balloons
allowing a much more authentic 'comic' look.

This release adds a significant collection of new built in 'styles' (for
objects like speech balloons and lettering), templates, as well as a
selection of 6 new built-in fonts. Fixes and improvements encompass image
handling, text handling, graphics export and iPhoto library integration.
Smarter file saving now decreases file storage requirements. Teamed with a
bunch of bug fixes and little improvements, it makes this version snappier
and even more fun to use.

In June at the Worldwide Developers Conference, San Francisco, Comic Life
scooped the coveted 'Best Product New to Mac OS X' Apple Design Award.
"This win really sets plasq off to a great start - having its virtual doors
only open since late February this year. Really exciting" mentions Cris
Pearson, User Experience and Graphic Designer at plasq. In addition to
this, plasq has received volumes of excited feedback from educators
(pre-school to tertiary) who use Comic Life to teach language, illustrate
grammar and as a presentation aid in schools around the world.

This is a free update for all existing users.
