Phlink 2.1

Phlink 2.1

For immediate release

Ovolab releases Phlink 2.1, with support for key Tiger technologies.

Torino, Italy (Europe) - April 29, 2005 - Ovolab(R) today released version
2.1 of Ovolab Phlink, its innovative and award-winning telephony software
for the Mac.

Version 2.1 of Ovolab Phlink features full support for Mac OS X Tiger with
Dashboard widgets, Spotlight searches and Automator actions. Additionally,
Ovolab Phlink 2.1 sports a new smart list editor: similar in concept to
smart folders in Tiger's new Finder, smart lists can organize calls and
voicemail messages automatically for the user.

"Searching for a client's or a friend's name with Spotlight will now
instantly find all past calls with that person," said Alberto Ricci,
Ovolab's CEO. "And thanks to Phlink's Dashboard widgets, a keypad for
dialing is at your fingertips. It has been exciting to provide users with
new ways of using Phlink in their everyday tasks."

"Tiger includes hundreds of new features which make it the world's most
advanced operating system," said Ron Okamoto, Apple's vice president of
Worldwide Developer Relations. "We're excited to see the latest version of
Phlink use Spotlight, Dashboard and Automator to give Mac users a powerful
telephony solution."

Spotlight support.
When performing searches, Spotlight is now able to find information about
past phone calls: searching for a friend's name will not only find
references to the friend within documents on the computer, but it will also
reveal all calls received from that person. Spotlight can index and search
through call-related information, such as the time and duration of the
call, the name of the remote party, and any notes that the user attaches to
the call in Phlink.

Dashboard widgets.
Ovolab Phlink 2.1 includes two Dashboard widgets - mini-applications that
are a keypress away from your desktop. By pressing a function key, a
Dashboard widget zooms across your desktop and displays the last five
incoming, outgoing and missed calls. A second widget lets you dial phone
numbers directly from the Dashboard, either using a keypad or by choosing a
contact from your Address Book. Phlink's Dashboard widgets also allow you
to control Phlink running on another Mac on the network.

Automator actions.
Phlink's actions for Automator are building blocks that can be easily
inserted in your workflows. Tell Automator to call you on your cell phone
when it has finished resizing 5,000 images. Or to call a list of people,
automatically, inviting them to your next meeting.

Ovolab Phlink turns your Mac into a powerful answering machine and
telephone information center. Widely used in the home, home office and in
businesses, it greets callers with personalized greetings, plays
caller-specific ringtones, forwards voicemail messages by email, and much
more. Ovolab Phlink gives a professional touch to your telephone line: it's
a perfect choice for shops, home offices and small businesses, while it
also allows families to make their telephone part of the digital hub.
