A long time in the making, we are pleased to announce the availability of
PageNOW! 2.0 for MacOS. With support for TCP based paging, and a number of
new and improved features across the board, we are sure everyone will find
something to look forward to in this widely anticipated update to PageNOW!

With PageNOW! 2.0 you can reach pagers and digital phones with:

--)Personal Messages
Enter and manage urgent messages to colleagues and family on your Mac,
then send them off via modem or internet connection.

--)Appointments and Reminders
Send yourself full-text reminder pages to keep you on time
during your busy day.

--)Wireless E-Mail
Receive e-mail from Internet, online services, or your office network
on your pager.

--)Network Alerts
Receive important messages from 3rd party network monitoring applications
such as EtherPeek, InterMapper, LAN Surveyor, PageSentry, Server Sentinel,
and more!

buggy Apple Modem Tool list)

Services may have a custom modem setting that overrides the
default one (so some services can be 7E1, while others are
8N1 for example)
NEW Can now "suspend paging" via checkbox/icon in
message monitor
NEW Status report during message send in Message Monitor
NEW Now have a "service" column in the subscribers window
NEW Cancel Button in Message Monitor window
IMPROVED Additional status and icons in Message Monitor
IMPROVED Numeric paging now allows "#" and "*" to be sent
IMPROVED Toll free and local area codes now support more than
one code (ie, now supports "800,877,888")
IMPROVED Display the type (numeric/email/speech/etc) in
subscribers window
IMPROVED Now update preferences file at idle time as well as at quit
UPDATED All new artwork and icons
FIXED "Postpone Indefinitely" did not work in "Send At" dialog
FIXED Increased some timeouts so that Vodaphone UK
would work via TAP
FIXED Fixed bug where handling of shutdown by PageNOW! would fail
under certain versions of system sw (notably 7.6)

New Features for Administrators (and Client/Server Version)
NEW (Optional) Automatic purging for message monitor
window/database
NEW "Admin Pager" (optionally) gets a message when a
page fails
NEW ".Admin Alert" memorized message serves as a template
NEW Designated "Backup Subscriber" for each account.
The "Backup" gets a message in case the message can't be
sent to the first account. For example, if a message fails via
a TCP protocol, you could designate a modem based protocol
using subscriber as the "Backup"
NEW Support for Sophisticated Circuits PowerKey/Rebound
NEW Export of Message Monitor contents
NEW Ability to import/export numeric, speech and
e-mail subscribers

PageNOW! 2.0 is available as a demo version which can be unlocked after
purchase. Available now, PageNOW! can be ordered direct from our online
