(oXygen/) XML Editor version 3.1

(oXygen/) XML Editor version 3.1

Hello,

We are glad to announce the release of the (oXygen/) XML Editor, version 3.1.
This release improves the outliner, updates the DocBook stylesheets and
fixes a number of problems.
The new version can be downloaded from http://www.oxygenxml.com/download.html.

New in (oXygen/) XML Editor 3.1
=================================
* The Outliner shows more information.
* DocBook XSL stylesheets 1.64.1.
* Solved a Xerces conflict of the Eclipse plugin.
* File association on Mac OS X.
* WebDAV tries to recover from non fatal HTTP errors.
* Oxygen Eclipse Plugin options redesign.
* Fixed a bug concerning the storage into options of the URLs.

Details...

* The Outliner shows more information.
The outliner presents a short text that describes each element from the
tree. The description is composed from the value of the first attribute and
the first words from the text content of the rendered element. The new
buttons from the outliner toolbar allow you to filter out the attribute
value, the text or both.

* DocBook XSL stylesheets 1.64.1.
The latest DocBook XSL stylesheets are included.

* Solved a Xerces conflict of the Eclipse plugin.
Whenever Xerces is used by oXygen we make sure we load it using the
plugin classloader to avoid getting a wrong version if present in other
Eclipse plugin.

* File association on Mac OS X.
After the first run the editor is set to be the default application for
XML related files. For information about resetting the file association
please read the comment from the Info.plist file located into the
application contents directory.

* WebDAV tries to recover from non fatal HTTP errors.
A retry handler was added for the WebDAV HTTP connections. If a socket
exception occurs when trying to open/save a remote file, then the operation
is retried 2 more times before reporting the error.

* Oxygen Eclipse Plugin options redesign.
The layouts for the options were changed to make use of the available
space in the dialog.

* Fixed a bug concerning the storage into options of the URLs.
In version 3.0 the recently used WebDAV and FTP URLs were stored in a
corrupted format, this causing a deadlock situation. The bug was solved.

Best regards,
(oXygen/) Development Team
