OpenBase SQL 9.1

OpenBase will release OpenBase SQL 9.1 at SUMMIT 2005

OpenBase Forms and Form Designer offer "power tools" for domain experts
REALbasic-based stored procedures allow business logic to be centralized

CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE, USA -- September 1, 2005 -- OpenBase International,
Ltd. today announced that it will release OpenBase SQL 9.1 on September 14,
2005, day one of its SUMMIT 2005 OpenBase Developers Conference, in Bretton
Woods, New Hampshire.

All OpenBase 9.0 license keys will continue to work with OpenBase 9.1.

The newest version of OpenBase SQL delivers significant enhancements. For
technical details, visit:
Important new capabilities in version 9.1 include:

OpenBase Forms, Wizard and Designer - OpenBase Forms and Form Designer
offer instant gratification for users who want to build their own fully
functional database interfaces quickly.

Expanded subquery support - To expand interoperability between OpenBase and
other outside services, subqueries now support stored procedure calls,
remote queries for any JDBC-compliant data source, and support for
insert-select.

Named Server-side Cursors - Server-side cursor support allows a query
result to be cached by a server and incrementally navigated, reducing the
need to return entire result sets to client applications. Multiple cursors
can be opened and used simultaneously by each database client.

REALbasic stored procedures - OpenBase SQL is the first database to allow
business logic written in REALbasic to run inside the database.

Temporary Tables - Temporary tables allow database clients to create
connection-specific temporary tables for storing and searching temporary
information.

EOModel Schema Synchronization - WebObjects developers can synchronize
their EOModel changes directly with the database schema using the OpenBase
Manager.

Schema Modification Recorder - When this option is turned on, all schema
changes made to the development database are recorded to enable quick,
accurate updates to the production system.

Relocatable Databases - OpenBase SQL 9 databases are now relocatable to an
external RAID or hard drive, or any other location.
