[NPL] Thinking Home

Beaufort, SC - August 30, 1999 - Always Thinking, Inc. proudly announces
the release of Thinking Home 1.0!

Imagine writing an AppleScript that turns on the coffee maker -- something
like:

tell application "Thinking Home"
turn on the "coffee maker"
end tell

Or just talk to your Mac: "Turn on the coffee maker". You can do it today!

Thinking Home is nothing less than the best application for working with
inexpensive X-10 (home automation) computer interfaces, including the new
FireCracker. Designed by user interface professionals, Thinking Home

powerful features that set it apart from other X-10 applications:

- Downloads Events and Macros
- Voice Commands
- Spoken announcements
- Runs AppleScripts and is scriptable
- Complete thermostat features
- Full Comm Toolbox support (i.e. all serial ports, not just Modem and
Printer)
- Drag & Drop
- Logging
- Multiple, simultaneous X-10 interfaces
- Comprehensive AppleGuide, including many web links and even help
making cables.
- Supports two-way devices
- Compatible with the ActiveHome (CM-11), CP-290 and the FireCracker
(CM-17) computer interfaces.
