Availability of Sorenson Broadcaster from Terran Interactive provides
developers a one stop shop of tools for delivering both live and on-demand
content via the Internet.

Los Gatos, CA (September 14, 1999) Terran Interactive, a wholly- owned
subsidiary of Media 100, Inc. (Nasdaq:MDEA) and the leading developer and
distributor of compression tools and encoders for preparing high quality
media for the Internet, announced today the immediate availability of
Sorenson Broadcaster. The Sorenson Broadcaster is a product of Sorenson
Vision, Inc. which enables developers to encode and broadcast live events
and is available directly from Terran Interactive.

Sorenson Broadcaster is the first live audio and video broadcasting tool to
support Apple Computers QuickTime technology. Available for Mac OS,
Sorenson Broadcaster enables developers to compress video and audio in
real-time for distribution on LANs and the Internet. The audio and video
stream can be viewed on both MacOS and Windows-based computers using
QuickTime 4.

Sorenson Broadcaster features include:

Intuitive Interface Presets make live broadcasts possible within minutes
and custom options address the needs of web broadcast professionals.

Streaming Archive allows developers to simultaneously stream and archive
events to a local drive.

Unicast Support and Multicast support- standard unicast protocols enable
the streaming of media to individuals or to QuickTime streaming servers.
Multicast transmissions enable the most efficient use of network capacity
on multicast-enabled networks.

Preview/Monitor a preview monitor allows the user to see broadcasts before
and during transmission.

Additional Features Efficient cropping and scaling, AppleScript and easy
insertion of graphics through poster frames.

$199 (USD). Sorenson Broadcaster is currently available for MacOS and
