Internet - Sound Selling from MacSourcery

It just got cheaper to buy royalty-free music - thanks to the Internet.

MacSourcery, a San Diego based media-software producer reduced its product
pricing today, attributing the cost reduction to the effectiveness of
marketing and selling online.

Company President John Pattenden, says the Internet has made it possible
for his company to easily reach more potential customers, resulting in
higher market penetration and reduced marketing costs.

"The Internet has made it possible to promote and sell directly online. The
lower cost of online sales has allowed MacSourcery to cut the price of its
MusiCopia series of royalty-free music to $99.

The MacSourcery WEB site (www.macsourcery.com) features CD quality snippets
from MusiCopia enabling customers to hear the music on line.

Described by Music and Computers magazine as having 'an innovative (music)
browser..with expert playing throughout', MusiCopia is designed with the
end-user in mind.

Featuring the music of Hollywood composer/musician John Scott, the
collection is a varied and eclectic compilation of music beds. Mr Scott's
impressive musicianship has already been used by CNN, NBC, A&E, McDonalds,
VH-1 and Pepsi in a variety of soundtracks and promos.

Designed for media production professionals MusiCopia offers all tracks in
the standard CD audio, AIFF and WAV formats.

MusiCopia is currently used by universities, video production companies,
computer game developers and advertising agencies.

Mr Pattenden says MusiCopia has been sold worldwide, with sales from
'Germany and Japan to New Zealand and South Africa'.

"The Internet provides a cost effective opportunity for small companies to
market and sell products globally," he said.

Packaged as an audio CD and a Macintosh and Windows compatible CD-ROM,
MusiCopia is a collection of 84 tracks comprising 52 different original
themes and 32 loops with titles including Tango Mango, Finger Pickin' Good,
Fenway Frolic and Africa Trek.
