QuickDNS Pro 2.1.1 from Men & Mice Released:

QuickDNS Server Update Provides Extensive DNS Security through Spoofing
Protection --- --- --- Reykjavik, Iceland October 26/-- Men & Mice today
released version 2.1.1 of QuickDNS Pro, which provides extensive DNS
security through DNS spoofing protection. Men & Mice is responding to the
immediate threat DNS servers on the Internet encounter through DNS
spoofing. DNS spoofing can cause serious security problems for DNS servers
vulnerable to such attacks, for example causing users to be directed to
wrong Internet sites or emails going through non-authorized mail servers.
"DNS spoofing seems to be an increasing security issue on the Internet and
we saw the need for immediate and extensive security measures to protect
users against such attacks" says Sigfus Magnusson, QuickDNS Product
manager. "QuickDNS Pro is among only few DNS servers that have DNS spoofing
protection." Further information on DNS spoofing and how it can affect DNS
servers is available on the Men & Mice web site
(http://www.menandmice.com/dnsplace/dns_spoofing.html)
