Bare Bones Software Ships Mailsmith 1.1.1 Update

Bedford, MA--October 26, 1998--Bare Bones Software today announced the
release of an update to Mailsmith, the company's lnternet email client. The
Mailsmith 1.1.1 update adds an assortment of features, many of them
requested by existing Mailsmith customers, and fixes a number of reported
problems.

Additions, changes, and fixes in this release include:

+ Optional coloring of quoted text content in messages, including the
ability to use colors like Emailer's, or to specify your own. When
the text coloring option is engaged, quoted lines in messages will
be distinctively colored up to five levels deep.

+ The addition of a new "mail account" scripting object to provide
greater control over scripted checking and sending of mail.

+ An option to use Base64 encoding directly for outgoing enclosures.

+ and many additional items!

Version 1.1.1 is available to all registered Mailsmith customers free of
charge. The updater package may be downloaded from the company's web site at

Mailsmith 1.1.1 is available immediately. Any BBEdit or BBEdit Lite user,
