Internet-Based Backup Arrives for Macintosh

Markdale, Ontario, Canada - Synectics Business Solutions has announced the
arrival of BackJack (www.backjack.com), an internet-based backup service
for the Macintosh. Those who are considering the purchase of a new iMac
will now be able to cost effectively back up their data without the
necessity of purchasing additional hardware or backup media. BackJack also
provides a better backup solution for current Mac users still using
conventional backup media such as floppy disks, removable storage devices,
or tape drives considering the potential failure of magnetic media and the
tendency not to store it off-site.

Backup operations are completely automated to execute at the most
convenient time and provide efficient use of computer operations. Archiving
and revision options are available to accomodate the need for historical
data. Free recovery of lost data is available should an unfortunate
disaster occur and BackJack provides the peace of mind that no insurance
company can -- immediate access to data.

Using the most sophisticated 128-bit encryption technology available,
BackJack securely transfers and stores data via the Internet. Set it and
forget it, knowing that your most important data is being kept safely in an
off-site location at BackJack's secure facilities.

The hardware, software, and human resource costs of conventional backup
methods can be avoided with BackJack's ability to support multiple users.
Software upgrades are free to subscribing members so that they can take
advantage of enhanced features and capabilities, and any technological
changes that may occur in the future.

Further details about this new and innovative service can be obtained from
the BackJack website at (www.backjack.com) as well as taking advantage of
BackJack's free software and no obligation 15-day free trial period.
