INSIDER FONTAGENT 2.7.1 ADDS SUPPORT FOR MACOS 8.5 FONTS
Leading Font Utility Now Supports Appearance Manager Fonts

December 21, 1998 [Carlsbad, CA] Insider Software today released
Insider FontAgent 2.7.1, a new release of the leading Macintosh font
maintenance and organization that adds full support for the
Appearance Manager fonts found in MacOS 8.5, as well as selected bug
fixes.

The new version recognizes the fonts used by the Appearance Manager
used in MacOS 8.5 and extends other core System Font functions. The
bug fixes involve a situation in which users selected a specific
combination of execution options that generated fonts with names
longer than the 31 characters allowed by MacOS. Without the fix,
FontAgent would exit normally without completing the user's request.

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
The new release is free to all licensed users of Insider FontAgent.
Users can download FontAgent and analyze their font collections for
free. To enable FontAgent to repair and reorganize their fonts, users
must purchase a full license. The FontAgent Standard Edition costs
$79 and manages the fonts on all file volumes on a single Macintosh.
The Network Edition costs $169, and analyzes and synchronizes all the
fonts in a Macintosh workgroup. The Limited Edition costs $29 and
analyzes the fonts on a single hard drive. All FontAgent versions can
be obtained by contacting Insider at www.insidersoftware.com,
