iForm 1.0 -- The Versatile Little Forms Server

Setauket, NY, March 1999 - Limit Point Software introduces iForm 1.0
for Mac OS, the elegant but affordable little forms processor for
intranet and internet.

Simple storefronts, guest books, surveys, quizzes, mailing lists --
all are good jobs for iForm but its applications are limitless. iForm
messengers any form's results to multiple e-mail destinations, then
warehouses the form's results in a text-and-tabs data archive for
database import. Plus, iForm will messenger multiple attachments --
HTML, PDF, images, audio, video and more -- and even optionally
auto-binhex any file format on the fly. And no mail server or web
server required -- iForm will serve forms from any Mac on your TCP/IP
network independent of, or as a complement to your web server.

In the spirit of Boolean Search 2, iForm reflects Limit Point's
philosophy of custom-fit solutions. iForms may sport custom graphics
and any form element in any quantity -- pop-ups, check boxes, radio
buttons or text fields -- and the Required Field verification
mechanism provides blank field error handling. iForm even handles
multi-page forms.

iForm ships with a JumpStart Library of fully customizable forms and
templates, plus projects which extend iForm's capabilities through
Apple Events. All iForm templates may embed and execute AppleScripts
dynamically, and iForm will dock with other scriptable applications,
including dynamic forms servers such as Tango, Lasso and MacAuthorize.

Ideal fits for iForm: 1) A SQL database forms processing solution is
not feasible or cost-effective. 2) iForm's e-messenging
sophistication resolves e-mail limitations typically found in
database form servers.

iForm's data capture tools include two processing monitors: a live
status window monitors form submissions and a configurable log tracks
form submission details; includes log rolling capability.
Environmental and Connection data such as timestamp, domain, IP
address and agent may be auto-inserted into text-and-tabs archives.

iForm is versatile, affordable and completely unintrusive.
Introductory pricing is $77 through March 30, regular price will be
$87. An eval is available at
http://www.limit-point.com/iForm/iForm.html.
