Insider FontAgent 2.7 Adds Hot Web Links and Automatic Error Recovery New
Utility Replaces Font Box In Insider's Product Line

September 10, 1998 [Carlsbad, CA] Insider Software today released Insider
FontAgent 2.7, which replaces Font Box, the leading font maintenance and
repair utility for Macintosh computers. The new FontAgent name better
represents the product's capabilities and future direction. FontAgent 2.7
adds hot web links as well automatic recovery features that enable the
product to handle font collections that are in unstable and unusual
conditions.

Live Web Links Directly Access Vendors' Web Sites Insider FontAgent 2.7
includes hot links to Insider's web site so users can access the product's
latest documentation, ordering and technical support information with a
single click from within FontAgent as it is operating.

"Mac font conditions can be confusing," commented Rio Sabadicci president
of Insider Software. "With FontAgent 2.7, we automatically share what we've
learned about fonts over the years with our users. Now they can get the
information they need when they need it - without having to find manuals."

Automatic Recovery of Unstable Font Sets The new release also includes
improvements that enable FontAgent to handle extreme conditions in which
font files and families are scattered widely, or are in disarray such as
when many Type 1 bitmapped fonts exist appear without their PostScript
counterparts or vice versa.

Pricing and Availability
Users can immediately download FontAgent 2.7 and analyze their font
collections for free. To enable FontAgent to repair and reorganize their
fonts, users must purchase a full license. The FontAgent Standard Edition
costs $79 and manages the fonts on all file volumes on a single Macintosh.
The Network Edition costs $169, and analyzes and synchronizes all the fonts
in a Macintosh workgroup. The Limited Edition costs $29 and analyzes the
fonts on a single hard drive. All FontAgent versions can be obtained by
