[NPL] Dynamic HTML: The Definitive Reference

O'Reilly Releases Latest Goodman Book,
"Dynamic HTML: The Definitive Reference" Comprehensive Resource for HTML,
CSS, DOM, & JavaScript

Danny Goodman's latest book, "Dynamic HTML: The Definitive Reference" is an
indispensable compendium for Web content developers. It contains everything
needed to create functional cross-platform Web applications, including:
reference material for all of the HTML tags, CSS style attributes, browser
document objects, and JavaScript objects supported by the various standards
and the latest versions of Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet
Explorer.

Browser compatibility is emphasized throughout; the reference pages clearly
indicate browser support for every entity. Cross-reference indexes that
make it easy to find interrelated HTML tags, style attributes, and document
objects. This new release is an advanced introduction to creating dynamic
Web content that addresses the cross-platform compromises inherent in Web
page design.

"Dynamic HTML encompasses so many different industry standards, and is
implemented so differently in the major browsers, that it took forever to
find out what powers are available and whether I could use them in one or
both browsers." the author explained, "I needed this book for my own use to
consolidate, verify, and correct information that was scattered all over
the Internet, and to present the truth in a non-browser-partisan way."

"Dynamic HTML: The Definitive Reference" is the only DHTML reference that
Web developer needs. It covers both IE4 and Navigator 4.

Chapter 2 from "Dynamic HTML: The Definitive Reference", "Cross-Platform
Compromises" is available free on the web at:
