August 26, 1999 Trumbull, CT- DataViz Inc. released today a new version
(2.002) of Documents To Go for Macintosh and Windows. This FREE upgrade
adds new features, such as document bookmarking. The Macintosh version adds
support for AppleWorks 5 word processing and spreadsheet files and support
for contextual menus. This new version of Documents To Go will also be
scriptable, allowing Mac users to automate the process of adding files to
Documents To Go via AppleScript.

View Office files on Your Palm Organizer Documents To Go allows Palm
users to take their everyday files To Go on the Palm Organizer. Just drag
word processing files and spreadsheets into the Documents To Go window on
the desktop. They will automatically be converted and optimized for viewing
on the Palm. There is no need to specially format the documents on the
desktop. Pressing the HotSync button brings the most up-to-date version of
the documents down to the Palm Organizer. Its that simple.

Features Added in Both the Macintosh and Windows Version Both Macintosh and
Windows users will be able to take advantage of new bookmarking features.
This allows users to mark their spot in documents and spreadsheets,
enabling them to jump from one paragraph or cell to another with ease. This
makes navigating through large documents much faster and easier on the Palm.

Features Added in the Macintosh Version
The biggest addition to the Macintosh version is support for
AppleWorks/ClarisWorks 5 documents and spreadsheets. This is increasingly
important due to the increase iMac sales and the fact that iMacs come with
AppleWorks 5.0. Now AppleWorks users can take their desktop files with them
each time they synchronize their Palm organizer. This upgrade will also
allow users to take advantage of the latest features of the Mac OS, such as
Contextual Menus. Files can be added to the Documents To Go application
with a simple Control Click. As a more advanced feature, DataViz has also
made the latest version scriptable. This new version ships with scripts
written by DataViz to allow users to automate the addition of files to
Documents To Go. For example, users can automatically take e-mail
attachments from Microsoft Outlook Express or other scriptable e-mail
clients, and save them directly to Documents To Go. During the next
synchronization those attachments will be brought to the Palm organizer.
